Stephen Abram, 我�?太清楚有多少人了解此�?�，他也是图书馆界人士出身，现在是SirsiDynix公�?�的创新（Innovation）副总�?。他在SirsiDynix的网站专�?中贴了一篇有关Library 2.0的评论。虽然我个人�?认为精彩之处甚多，但到底他现在是厂商人士，所以讨论的角度颇有�?味，大家有兴趣也�?�以去看看。尤其是他�??出图书馆员2.0应该干什么或者�?� 以�?�解为能干什么，颇有创�?，所以我这边�?客气将它盗用一把，贴在这儿。并以此作为一个评价表对自己的图书馆员2.0能力或者说�?熟度进行一下测评。（说明一下，原文照贴，在此�?作翻译了，我�?�贴上我自己的测评）

· Understand the power of the Web 2.0 opportunities（这一项我看�?��?�以得分，对于Web 2.0所带�?�的�?�命性的机�?�还是有所认识，但如果光说Library 2.0的�?，我就�?被扣分了，因为我�?仅认识�?足，还到处浇水。:-）

· Learn the major tools of Web 2.0 and Library 2.0 (Web 2.0有哪些主�?的Tool呢？我肯定�?是沉迷于Web 2.0的geek, �??怕�?光是认识问题，在技能与学识上也�?扣上一点的。有关Library 2.0的Tools? 现在有�?�？我怎么一点都�?知�?�啊？好了，所以这一�?�我最起�?�?扣掉0.5分)

· Combine e-resources and print formats and is container and format agnostic (作为已�?有二�??年以上信�?�技术�?验的专业人士，对�?�?�的信�?�资�?的认识与掌�?�个人认为还是勉强�?�格的，应该算得分�?�。)

· Is device independent and uses and delivers to everything from laptops to PDAs to iPods （别的还好说，iPods？什么东西？没用过啊。想想�?�?��?断年长的缘故，现在对家里的新设备都没有�?儿敢动手啊。汗颜，扣0.5分�?�。）

· Develop targeted federated search and adopts the OpenURL standard （这个�?�能说�?�论掌�?�，我们也在实践中�?试过如此的工作，但�?甚�?功。所以扣上0.5分也是应该的�?�。）

· Connect people and technology and information in context （这个应该�?�以得分，�??调人与技术�?�信�?�之间的关系是我本�?�工作中的�?点。）

· Doesn’t shy away from non-traditional cataloging and classification and chooses tagging, tag clouds, folksonomies, and user-driven content descriptions and classifications where appropriate （我�?是传统的编目人员，虽然曾�?干过。所以我是�??几年�?就对这样的转型�?shy了，所以�?�以得分�?�。）

· Embrace non-textual information and the power of pictures, moving images, sight, and sound （对这个有充分的认识，虽然�?能说应用得�?�常好，因为这个需�?一定的艺术细胞�?��?�?�的知识，但总算还是有相当的认识与�?步的技能�?�。勉强得分。）

· Understand the “long tail�? and leverages the power of old and new content （这个是认识问题，对于长尾虽然也是�?段时间刚认识到，但总算有认识�?�。�?�以得分。）

· See the potential in using content sources like the Open Content Alliance, Google Print, and Open WorldCat (嗯，这个很是认�?�。但�?能说对这个新的项目与�?务其真正的潜力有多大的认识，扣上0.5分�?�。)

· Connect users to expert discussions, conversations, and communities of practice and participates there as well （虽然有这样的认识，但是在实践中明显�?�得有相当的�?离，最起�?是扣上0.5分。）

· Use the latest tools of communication (such as Skype) to connect content, expertise, information coaching, and people （这个有点讨厌了，是用过啊。但Skype�?是现在被�?了�?�？当然这属环境因素，�?是我们的主观能动性问题，也算得分�?�。）

· Use and develops advanced social networks to enterprise advantage （如果�?以传统手段，就中国人对人际关系的�?视与处�?�能力明显是……，但这里说的�?是这回事�?�？所以看�?��?�得�?好，�?扣上0.5分。）

· Connect with everyone using their communication mode of choice – telephone, Skype, IM, SMS, texting, email, virtual reference, etc. （在我们的实践中这一点是�?�得很努力的了，所以应该算是得分�?�。）

· Encourage user driven metadata and user developed content and commentary （根本没�?�能，扣分。我们目�?没有这样的实践与�?务，并且主观能动性与环境�?�其他因素的冲�?也太大了。）

· Understand the wisdom of crowds and the emerging roles and impacts of the blogosphere, Web syndicasphere and wikisphere （这个是有充分的认识，但也充分认识到wiki是被�?了的这一事实，因此……，这个就�?�?扣分了�?�？因为我们也很无奈啊。）

综�?�上�?�的评测，�?�设图书馆员2.0以20分计的�?，以上是16项（�?足20的部分就算我的基本分�?�。:-），我们�?�看看扣了多少分，嗯，一共扣了4分。则�?�以算得16分�?�，�?对�?是扣除这个4分的基本分，是�?�我�?�有12分而已？所以综�?�评价，我�?�能算是图书馆员1.5�?�。

回过头�?�想，以我们馆的情况，能有多少人能算图书馆员2.0呢？�?�有多少人能算1.5呢？多少人……�?敢往下想了。就我们馆�?� 说，正�?员工中�??怕最起�?有三分之一以上的员工对最基本的信�?�技术工具的电脑的�?作都�?能算熟练�?�？在这样的情况下，我们的图书馆2.0建设是�?�也�?等到……

下�?�开馆里的�?�工大会，会议结�?��?�竟然唱起了那首久�?的歌：“英特纳雄�?尔，就一定�?实现……�?
